Come join the fun as we celebrate another magical Susie the Duck Day! Mark your calendars and prepare for a day of family-friendly festivities. Susie the Duck Day, Lodi’s most beloved tradition, returns on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Head to downtown Lodi for a full day packed with entertainment, delicious food, and enough duck-themed fun for the whole family.
Schedule of Events
Morning Activities & Ongoing Attractions (Starting at 9:00 AM)
- Library Annual Run/Walk: Kick off the morning with a healthy start, hosted by the Friends of the Lodi Public Library and Activate Lodi.
- Kids Zones: Located in the shaded, grassy lot at Lodi Ice on Spring Street. The expanded kids area features bounce houses for all ages, dunk tanks, face painting, and art-themed activities.
- Food Truck Alley: Come hungry! A premier selection of food trucks will line Sodders Street for the day, serving up a wide variety of meals, drinks, and desserts.
- Beer Garden & Live Entertainment: Located on Spring Street, the Beer Garden opens early, serving cold beverages for adults 21 and older. Enjoy plenty of seating, room to dance, live band performances on the Main Stage, and a front-row seat to the downtown action.
- Susie’s Swag Shop & Derby Tickets: Starting at 9:00 AM, visit the Lodi & Lake Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce building to stock up on official Susie Swag and purchase your Duck Derby tickets. Cash and Venmo are accepted.
Main Events
Lodi Rotary Susie the Duck Parade
- Time: 10:00 AM
- Location: Main Street
- Details: Line up along Main Street to see Susie the Duck waddle her way through town. Hosted by the Lodi Rotary Club, the parade route travels from the top of Main Street, through downtown, and ends near Goeres Park.
The Famous Duck Derby
- Time: Approximately 1:00 PM (Following the parade)
- Location: Veteran’s Park to Spring Street
- Details: This time-honored tradition features thousands of rubber ducks released into Spring Creek at Veteran’s Park. Watch them race down the water to the finish line where Spring Creek meets Spring Street. Cash and prizes will be paid out to the top 10 winners.
- Tickets: Derby tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Purchase them in advance at the Chamber of Commerce, or buy them on the day of the event from volunteers along the parade route. Proceeds support the Chamber’s community mission.
